SOCIAL PROGRAMME

Besides scientific excellence represented by speakers of invited lectures and authors of papers included in Special and other conferences sessions, Dubrovnik conference is offering fruitful environment for exchange of ideas and to promote dialog about sustainability aspects.

In order to facilitate the dialog among conference participants we are offering Special Social program. On 25th September we will traditionally start the conference with „Welcome reception“ in fortress Revelin (on 19:00) in the Old Town accompanied by the sounds of traditional music.

On Wednesday 28th September we will bring to participants a bit of famous history of Dubrovnik Republic as we will sail out from the port of Dubrovnik (Gruz) in replicas of two Renaissance ships. Ship “Tirena”, the replica of Dubrovnik Galleon from 16th century and “Karaka” ship which is replica of an historic karaka, a very important kind of trading vessel in famous Dubrovnik's fleet.

We will try to catch sunset while passing city walls and local islands. Dubrovnik region offers a lot of historical sites so we shall visit some of them. Beside history, participants will be able to taste the Mediterranean on gala dinner. We will also try to finish gala dinner in traditional way by dance and karaoke singing.

Excursion and dinner are included in conference's fee and we are inviting all authors to submit their final papers, to make conference registration and to join us in Dubrovnik!!!
